Keio University Law School (KLS) annually holds a collaboration project “International Cooperation in Legal Field for Asia” with the Ministry of Justice and the Nagoya University. The project aims for participants to deeply understand about legal assistance in Asian countries by throughout a year. 

KLS symposium is the last event of the 2019 project. 

The theme of 2019 symposium is“Legal Cooperation for Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)”, which will discuss about how we can contribute to achieving the SDGs through the participation in legal cooperations. 

This year, KLS invites 12 students (including undergraduate and master students) from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thai and Myanmar. Students will present relationships between SDGs challenges and the legal system in their home country. 

Presenters will receive comments and feedback from experts on legal assistance. Besides, we are going to discuss this with audiences.
